A Shrewd Way To Get Targeted Online Traffic |Maryjane's Blog

If you are not able to bring the targeted online traffic to your website, there is no meaning in having a website at all.  Hence this should be your top priority.  You should view your website through the eyes of your potential customers and then only you can get an unbiased opinion about it.

In addition to improving the quality of your website, there are several techniques by adopting which you can achieve a good targeted traffic to your website.   Instead of getting a very high number of visitors to your site,  you should aim to get a good targeted traffic.  Then only you can convert the traffic into more sales.

Online blogging is one of the techniques that is adopted by many marketeers. This truly has a potential to get you traffic to your website.  When you write blogs, you should remember that they must be relevant to the niche of the product you handle.  You can post these blogs on your web page or on article directories or on social networking sites.  There are several free blogging sites available on which you can post your blogs also.

But you will be able to sustain the interest of the targeted traffic in your articles only if your contents are interesting as well as informative.  But if you beat around the bush or if your contents are dull, boring and without substance, gradually these fans will wither away.  You can also make your blogs dynamic and participative allowing the readers to share their ideas on your blogs so that you may benefit immensely when you contemplate improving your products or services. This may be a good feed-back for your business also.

The secret of writing informative blogs lies in updating your personal knowledge in the niche you are handling.  If you study deep into your niche, you may be surprised to gain knowledge of many unknown and fascinating things about the product you are handling.  Research is taking place throughout the world on a continuous basis and several innovations are being made.  By keeping abreast of all these things, you can make your blogs as interesting as possible.  Such blogs and articles that are posted on directories will definitely lift your place in the search engine rankings so that more and more targeted traffic will visit your website.

Apart from writing such blogs, you should ensure that your website also has content of superior quality.  You should keep on changing, modifying and improving the content periodically so that the visiting traffic will find it interesting and will be motivated to visit it repeatedly.  This will pave way for repeat-sales from  such targeted traffic.  Even the search engines weigh the quality of the website content to decide the ranking of your website.

If the contents of your blogs and website evoke such a good interest in your targeted online traffic, you can be sure of achieving phenomenal success in your business.

Adwords Account - How To Avoid The Nightmare | Maryjane's Blog

Unfortunately, when you're a fairly small fish in a big pond you have to play by the rules or you will get kicked out of the pond. No where is this more true than when it comes to your adwords account. Google is one mighty big fish and what they say goes, period. If you want to advertise on their Pay Per Click (PPC) network you had better be prepared to play by their rules or they will ban you and that will be one less stream of traffic you'll be able to rely on.

Google Adwords can provide you with a ton of very qualified traffic, and it can do it pretty quickly, but it's not without it's pitfalls. One of the things Google really looks for these days is a quality site. The days of mediocre sites is gone. Google expects, and demands, quality sites for their searchers. If you don't deliver you'll be gone, there won't be a negotiation, you'll just be gone. Google doesn't have to explain why you've been banned either, and they won't, one day you'll have a successful campaign and the next you'll be done and so will a big portion of your traffic (which is one reason why you should never rely on just one source of traffic for your site). In order to avoid this nightmare scenario, it's important you don't do anything that would put Google on high alert. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

1. Carefully read and follow the terms of service that Google spells out when you sign up for your account. one of the most important things to remember is that you can not direct link your ad to an affiliate offer. You must drive the traffic to your own website where you can then direct them to your affiliate offer. That is probably one of the most common mistakes people make. They think that Google is so big they won't notice, and they may not, for a while. But when they do you'll be banned. It's just not worth the risk. Put up a great blog.

 2. Make sure that the website you send your traffic to has some truly quality content. Don't just throw up some dumb blog or website with one article on it and expect that that will be ok, it won't. Again, Google's main concern is for their customers and, newsflash, that's not you. It's the people who search online. If Google doesn't think that their searchers will get what they're looking for when they visit your site, they will ban you. Hey, I don't mean to scare you, I'm just trying to point out that you have to be careful when you're dealing with 'The Big G'. They have their rules and they expect you to follow them. Don't forget, you're just a visitor in their kingdom and they expect you to carry your fair share of the weight and follow their rules. When you set up your adwords account make sure you read, understand and follow all the rules to avoid the nightmare from 'Big G'

Adwords For Free - 3 Tips And More| Maryjane's Blog

While there is no such thing, legitimately at least, as adwords for free, there are many places online that will provide you with a lot of free tips and tricks to get the most out of your Adwords accounts.

But before you head off to Google to do a search there are a few things you need to keep in mind:

1. Adwords is a fairly complicated method for generating traffic. If you follow advice from someone who really isn't qualified it can cost you more than money. If you disobey the terms of service Google has established you might well get banned and that would be very, very bad for business.

2. In order to really master Adwords you will need to find not only the training but you will need to be able to spend money while you aretesting your ads . The truth is that no matter how good the training you get is, it will still take time for you to tweak and perfect your ads. During this time you will almost be guaranteed to spend way more money than you make.

3. Google is always making changes to their Adwords platform. In order to get the most out of any tips or tactics you may find online it's important that you make sure that whoever is providing the tips has the most up to date information. You will really screw yourself if you follow outdated information.

Now,when it comes to managing your own Adwords accounts you need to keep some things in mind too. For one thing, you will need to track your results. Many people seem to think that this step is a hassle and they ignore it, but the truth is that you have to know where your clicks are coming from and how much they are costing you. If you try to guess, you will waste a ton of money.

It's important to test all your ads to find out what combination of headlines and body work the best. To do that you will have to make changes to the ad until you can pinpoint the exact right combination.  Make sure that during the testing stage you only make one change at a time. If you change more than one element during your test you won't have any way of knowing which change actually worked.

Don't go into your Adwords account as if you were in Vegas. What I mean by that is don't place all your eggs in one basket, don't blow all your money on one campaign. That never really works. Since you will need to test ads and you probably will make very little, if any, money during the test it's imperative that you set a realistic ad budget and don't go over that budget. That way you'll have enough money to follow through and find the ads that work.

If you really want to do an Adwords campaign the right way you'll probably be better off skipping the adwords for free hype and find a legitimate course that can explain the complexities of pay per click to you.

Adwords Marketing - Equals Traffic - Equals Dollars | Maryjane's Blog

Using Google Adwords marketing is one of many ways you can promote your website and get a lot of very targeted traffic.  This form of advertising is very effective, if you know how to do it. If you don't know how to do it, it will get very costly very quickly. Unless you have money to burn, you really should consider taking the time to fully learn all the ins and outs of using this method for getting traffic.

The two biggest advantage of using Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing is that it's fast and the traffic you get will be very targeted (it's not just about getting thousands of visitors to your site. If those people aren't really interested in what you are selling they won't buy... period. You want customers not just visitors). Getting the traffic quickly is a wonderful thing for anyone who wants to make money online. It's a numbers game and the more visitors you can get to your offer or website, the more sales you'll make. It's as simple as that.

The biggest down side to using PPC in general and Adwords in particular is it will cost, sometimes a lot.  There is a steep learning curve and just when you've got a successful campaign going it's not uncommon for Google to make changes that will affect your campaign.

It is expensive to run a successful Adwords campaign, especially in the beginning. Why? Because when you're first getting a campaign set up you are learning what works and what doesn't. To really dial it in and make sure you are getting the most out of your ads you will need to test, and while you are testing you will be spending money.

That doesn't mean you won't be making any, but it does mean that until you find the right combination of headline, keywords, and body of an ad you will likely pay more for clicks than you'll make in sales.

When you are testing your ads make sure that you only change one thing at a time. For example, run the ad, than change the headline than run it again. Did your clicks go up or down? If they went up keep the second headline but change the body copy. Did your clicks go up or down? Keep doing that until you have a winning ad.

I know this article is about PPC and Adwords and I don't want to get too far off topic, but there is something else you need to keep in mind because if you don't, it will cost you. And that is, that the clicks are only half of the story. Even if you've tweaked your ad so you've got a great ad that gets a lot of clicks, if those people don't make a purchase, or sign up to your list when they visit your website you've essentially wasted the money on the click. While tweaking your ads don't forget about your website copy too.

Adwords marketing can work well if you know how to do it properly. Take some time to learn how, set a realistic ad budget and keep testing. That's the best way to leverage the power of Google.

Adwords Suggestion Tool For Profitable Keywords | Maryjane's Blog

Doing business online means that your primary goal is to get traffic to your website. There are many methods you can use to generate that steady stream of traffic: Pay Per Click, Search Engine Optimization, and article marketing. All of these methods have one thing in common: you have to have a good list of keywords for them to work.  That's why many online marketers turn to Googles adwords suggestion keyword tool.

There are other programs online that will help you find great keywords, but most people stick with the giant and use the Google keyword tool. This tool will give you most of the information you'll need to set up successful advertising campaigns online.

Of course, as with everything, the keyword tool is not the do all end all. It's a really good place to start but you really have to drill down to find as many possible results as you can.

Most people will use this basic approach when doing their keyword research: type in a broad phrase and then take some of the results and drill those down even further.

Enter a general term and make note of the results. Depending on what you are using the keywords for, you may want to set the keyword tool to show you specific things such as the estimated cost per click, or the amount of competition, etc.

Once you've gotten a general list of possible keywords to target you can then get more specific in your search. For example, if you're searching for dog toys you would enter 'dog toys' in the keyword tool.  You will get back a fairly comprehensive list but you can than take those results and narrow them down further.

So if you got the term homemade dog toys you may be able to further hone that down to wooden home made dog toys. You get the idea. Start broad and narrow your selections down until you've got a complete list of highly targeted keywords to use for your online advertising campaigns.

The narrower you make your list the more targeted, and likely to actually make a purchase, your visitors will be. Also, you'll have less competition for the term wooden homemade dog toys then you would for dog toys. True, you'll also have fewer searches but the searchers you do have will be very targeted and they won't cost you as much.

Don't get too caught up the estimated cost per click numbers. These are only estimates. The actual amount you, or anyone else, pays for a given keyword can vary significantly based on several factors such as the quality score Google assigns to your ad.

The more clicks your ad gets the higher the quality score you'll receive. If you have a high quality score your ad will show up higher in the results and you'll pay less for the keyword.

The Adwords suggestion keyword tool is a great place to start your keyword research for any type of online advertising you need to do. Just don't fall into the trap of believing that it's going to give you every result for any given keyword and make sure to keep in mind that the results you get will largely be estimates and not exact numbers.

5 Tips To Success With Internet Marketing Products | Maryjane's Blog

There are so many internet marketing products available today, from methods and systems to teach people how to make money to scripts and software that help speed up the process.
However, just like with any other information product, not everything is as good as the sales page may make it out to be. Or, in some cases, it just isn’t a good fit with the person buying it. If you have decided to invest in internet marketing products then try and keep the following tips in mind.

1. Who is the author? Before you buy, try and dig a little deeper to find out who the author of the book, system or method is. This is not as important with scripts and software, but with information products it’s good to know who you are buying from.
Unfortunately, the internet has allowed many to make money without actually having any knowledge of what they are writing about and this doesn’t bode well for anyone buying a new money making system.
2. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. If internet marketing products promise you that you can make $5,000 in the next 50 minutes, you would likely not believe it. Then why would you believe an internet marketing product that says you can make $10,000 in a month, even if the time span is longer?
Remember that internet marketing is essentially a business and a business can take quite a bit of time before it becomes profitable, so be patient.
3. Don’t give in to your emotions. Sometimes you want to believe in something so much that you overlook the cold, hard facts that are screaming at you that it is impossible for all these internet marketing products to deliver on their promises.
Yet, here you are putting your PayPal information in again to buy the latest shiny toy, even though you probably have a hard drive full of products you have never read.
4. Take action. This is one of the biggest problems in internet marketing today. People buy so many systems but never implement even one. They keep on looking for the Holy Grail without actually putting in the work to see whether or not they already have it in their grasp.
They jump from product to product, with no clear goal in sight hoping they will find that one product where they can push a button and their PayPal will receive money automatically. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work like that and you still need to put some work in. All the internet marketing products out there combined will not make you money if you do not put the work in.
5. Give it time. Just like with a diet, internet marketing products and the systems they offer need a little time. By their very nature, search engines take time before they rank a site and you are tempted to scrap a system within 24 hours of trying it because it doesn’t work.
Remember that you need to give anything a chance for at least 30 days to really judge how effective it is. If after thirty days you have not seen any progress, then by all means switch to a different system.
